Research Area:Information Flow Control


In information systems, data in an object may illegally flow into another object. In this figure, first, a subject A reads the content x of file 1. Next, the subject A writes the content x into file 2. Then, a subject B reads the file 2. As a result, the subject B can read the content x in the file 1, although B is not allowed to read the file 1.

We would like to propose information flow control models to prevent illegal information flow to occur.
